POV: Points Of View is a Sci-Fi virtual reality and Web XR experience based on the systemic threat of surveillance technology in law enforcement. The goal with POV is to influence positive oversight into the research and development of emerging technologies like facial recognition, data/privacy surveillance, and A.I.

Synopsis of Story: In Los Angeles in the year 2025, after serving 2 years in prison for biometric hacking. Cassius Moore a 21 year old black male qualifies for early release under a new federal drone program. He is assigned to an artificially intelligent weaponized drone to follow him around and record his every move.

2021 Mozilla Festival

The team built a fully rendered 45 minute experience using the platform Mozilla Hubs. This was accessible via on-demand for any attendee for the full duration of the festival through desktop or virtual reality headset.

2021 Tribeca Film Festival

The team built a fully rendered 45 minute experience using for the Museum of Other Realities (MOR), Oculus Quest app, desktop and mobile screeners. This was accessible via on-demand for any attendee for the full duration of the festival through desktop or virtual reality headset.

As a part of Tribeca’s Juneteenth programming, the team executed a VIP & Press screening, which provided attendees with access to the piece using their preferred viewing method as well as direct access to the creator and director, Alton Glass. The following day, the team collaborated with BRIC to provide a free pop-up activation to the Brooklyn community.
